IRON MAIDEN: Second Tokyo Show Added

September 20, 2006

With IRON MAIDEN's Oct. 25 show at Budokan in Tokyo, Japan already close to sellout, MAIDEN has announced a second Tokyo show at the Tokyo Forum on Oct. 28. The group's Japanese schedule is now shaping up as follows:

Oct. 25 - Tokyo, JPN @ Budokan
Oct. 26 - Hiroshima, JPN @ Yubinchokin Hall
Oct. 28 - Tokyo, JPN @ Forum
Oct. 30 - Osaka, JPN @ Jo Hall
Oct. 31 - Nagoya, JPN @ Shimin Hall

Support on the dates will come from LAUREN HARRIS, daughter of IRON MAIDEN bassist Steve Harris.

IRON MAIDEN's "A Matter of Life and Death" shifted 56,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to enter The Billboard 200 chart at No. 9 — a notable increase from the 40,000 first-week tally registered by its predecessor, 2003's "Dance of Death" (which landed at No. 18 on The Billboard 200 chart),and that of "Brave New World", which moved 38,000 copies in June 2000 to land at No. 39 on The Billboard 200 chart.
